We are so pleased to welcome Cindy Bond to our team as Manager of Family Care and Engagement, strengthening the support we provide to families navigating dementia.

A Depth of Experience in Dementia Care

With over 40 years of experience in social services, including more than 13 years dedicated to dementia care, Cindy brings deep knowledge and a strong commitment to supporting families.

Her work has always been rooted in understanding the full experience of both individuals living with dementia and the people who care for them. This perspective allows her to meet families where they are, offering guidance that is both practical and deeply empathetic.

Supporting Families with Clarity and Confidence

In her role at Aruga, Cindy works closely with families to provide guidance, education, and practical support. Her focus is on helping families navigate the complexities of dementia care with greater clarity and confidence.

Whether families are just beginning their journey or are further along, Cindy offers a steady presence—someone who understands the challenges and can help make the path forward feel more manageable.

Growing Aruga’s Family Support Programs

As Cindy steps into this role, she will also help shape and grow Aruga’s family support programs. This includes leading education for both families and staff, and strengthening connections within the Calgary community.

Her work will play an important role in expanding how Aruga supports not only clients, but the families and caregivers who are part of their care journey.
